Metallographic Examination
Metallographic examination helps us ensure that the material quality of the chassis components meets the design requirements, providing adequate strength and durability.
We take samples from different locations of the undercarriage parts and observe the grain structure of the material through the metallographic microscope. In this way, the microstructure uniformity, grain size, grain boundary clarity, and whether there are cracks and inclusions of the parts are detected.
Hardness Testing
The hardness test can detect the material hardness of the IMT parts, so that it can withstand various shocks during the operation of piling rig, while also effectively resisting wear and corrosion.
We choose methods such as Brinell hardness test and Rockwell hardness test to measure the hardness value of the material. Through hardness testing of undercarriage parts, we can know the hardness distribution of the material and whether there are uneven or low hardness situations.
